Rabbi Dr Aryeh Margolin
Aryeh Eliezer (Leon) Margolin was born in Moscow in 1973. He graduated with high honors from the Yeshiva Kollel program of the Bar - Ilan University. He also studied with Rabbi Zvulun Charlop the Dean and Rav Moreh in Yeshivas Itzchok Elhonan. He is a student in the hasmachah program in machon Eliya in Jerusalem.
He published several articles on Torah subjects (including "Hamaor" (Hebrew), "Journal of Judaism and Civilization" (English), Russian language program of Aish Hatorah website (Russian).
Dr. Margolin was selected as one of the 20 Russian speaking speakers to post his lectures on Rabbi Itchak Zilber memorial website (rav.ru) together with R. Potelyat and R Kushnir. He received haskama from gdolim in America. Dr. Margolin taught groups of Russian Jews consistently for many years, finding time and resources despite his busy schedule, including years of clinical training when he worked 80-100 hours a week.
Dr. Margolin graduated from MD/PhD program of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Hadassah Medical School. His specialty is Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Margolin's research interests include matrix metalloproeinases, tissue remodeling and it's relevance to degenerative joint and disc disease and he recently published a book on these topics. He received numerous awards including Kaye Innovation Awards of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Award of American College of Physicians, Award of American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management, Award of the Medical Society of Pennsylvania, Pfizer Award in Pain Management, Certificate of Merit of American Medical Association and Patients Choice Award (2008 and 2009).
