Rabbi Dovid Schwartz

After studying at the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem, Rabbi Dovid Schwartz received his Smicha from Mesivta Rabbi Chaim Berlin-Kollel Gur Aryeh. Rabbi Schwartz first taught at Beth Medrash L'Torah in Skokie, Illinois, where he contributed to the yeshiva's publications Likutei P'shatim and Ner Shmuel. Rabbi Schwartz went on to teach at Mesivta Tiferes Torah on Staten Island, the Be'er Hagolah Institute and Priority-One before Joining the rabbinical staff of the Jewish Heritage Center of Queens and Long Island in 1995, where he currently serves as Associate Director. He oversees the Centers individualized Torah Tutorial program and the popular Tuesday night lecture series. Absorbing approaches from the eclectic schools of machsheves Yisroel elucidated by such brilliant Torah personalities as Rav Yitzchok Hutner, Rav Chaim Shmulevitz and Rav Shimon Schwab, z"l, Rabbi Schwartz's presentations are known for their depth, clarity and wit.
